Caroline Lucero-Carpio,

Tiwa Native of Isleta Pueblo, New Mexico.  Isleta Pueblo is located 13 miles south of Albuquerqe, NM.

The articulation of my artwork is a reflection of my Native culture.  I would like my work to preserve a story and educate who we are many generations from now.  Most of my pottery is in a contemporary style made from clays that I gather.  The bronze sculptures are produced from my clay originals.
